NHS WIN YOUR WEDDING TERMS & CONDITIONS
The Terms and Conditions set out in the following document relate to the competition being run and advertised by the wedding suppliers listed below, referred to as the ‘KENT WEDDING TEAM’ who acting together for the purpose of this giveaway form a ‘not for profit’ group. There is NO CASH ALTERNATIVE to the prize offered and all individual suppliers may have their own terms and conditions in place that will need to be agreed to.
PRIZE: An NHS (NATIONAL HEALTH SERVICE) WORKER, EMPLOYED BY THE NHS ON A PERMANENT BASIS and their partner will win their entire wedding day.
Some additional charges may apply – these will be explained in detail below. None of the suppliers involved in the competition and named below will make a profit from anything they are offering as part of the prize.

THE ABOVE SUPPLIERS WILL BE REFERRED TO COLLECTIVELY AS THE ‘KENT WEDDING TEAM’
Conditions of Entry: 1. Entrants and their partner must be over the age of 18 and at least one of them must have been in permanent continuous employment by the NHS in Kent, for at least a six-month period prior to entering the competition. 2. The NHS employee will be expected to provide proof of employment by means of photographic ID. 3. This competition is open to all NHS employees who work within Kent and meet the terms and conditions as set out. 4. All entrants must be engaged at the time of entering the competition with the intention of getting married in the near future. 5. The couple must be legally married before their chosen date of 19/05/21 or 08/09/21. The wedding won in this competition is conducted by a celebrant and therefore not a legally binding ceremony. Evidence in the form of a marriage certificate will be required. Failure to comply with this term will result in the entire prize being withdrawn. The cost of the registrar, notice of marriage and wedding insurance etc. is not included in the prize and must be arranged and funded by the winning couple in advance of 19/05/21 OR 08/09/21. 7. All of the suppliers involved (except Couchman Bespoke, Peacock & Pearl, Claycraft By Jenny, Kat’s Keepsakes, Loops & Letters Calligraphy, Film Our Day, Creations By Miss Molly)) are based in Kent so any meetings, trials, fittings etc. will take place in Kent. It is the winning couple’s responsibility to arrange travel and all travel costs to the supplier’s location. 8. The couple and their wedding guests must be willing to travel to Kent for the wedding which will take place at Weddings In Kent, Alpaca Farm, Yaugher Lane, Hartlip, Kent, ME9 7XE. 9. The wedding will take place on either Wednesday 19/05/21 OR Wednesday 08/09/21. 10. All suppliers have confirmed availability for the above two dates. 11. The prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative from any of the suppliers. 12. If additional goods or services are required by the couple, then these should be discussed with the relevant supplier directly and any additional cost incurred will be agreed directly between the couple and the supplier. Additional costs will be the sole responsibility of the couple and payment will be due directly to the relevant supplier. 13. All professional images and videos taken by Florence Berry Photography, Ben Bryant Film & Photography, Lawless Rose Photography and Strawberry Photography, along with any photos taken by any of the Kent Wedding Team may be used by all suppliers named above, for advertising/marketing purposes across social media and individual websites/promotional materials. By entering the competition, you consent to these images being used. 14. Any service not included by the NHS Wedding Team will be provided at the winner’s own expense and must be reviewed by the NHS Wedding Team before being agreed to, to prevent conflicts of interest. 15. The wedding may be submitted to magazines and blogs for publication, the winning couple will be consulted about any submissions. 16. The closing date of the competition is midnight on the 31/07/2020. 17. Each member of the Kent Wedding Team will select one couple as their chosen winner creating the final shortlist. The overall winner will be drawn at random using an online program drawn from the shortlist. 18. The winning couple will be notified as soon as possible after the draw and, where possible, in person by the competition organiser and a small film crew to capture the moment. 19. In order to inform you in person, (where possible) we require your home address, this will be kept confidential at all times and will not be known to anyone except the competition organiser and the small film crew who will only be told the address of the winner and not until the day the winner is being informed that they have won. To ensure the news of you winning remains a surprise please provide the contact phone number of a friend/family member who can coordinate with us in arranging the home visit. 20. Due to the current isolation/social distancing rules imposed by the government, The Kent Wedding Team are unable to specify the date that the shortlist will be created, and overall winner drawn and notified; however, it will be done as soon as practical once the restrictions have been lifted. All updates will be communicated on the website www.weddingforthenhs.co.uk and across our social media platforms. 21. The winning couple will be informed via phone if we are unable to do it in person due to social distancing restrictions, you must supply a valid telephone number. 22. The winning couple will also be announced on the website and social media but we value your privacy so your full names/contact details will not be shared or published anywhere. 23. If the winning couple do not wish to accept the prize, they must inform the Kent Wedding Team within 48 hours of being made aware of their win, this must be done in writing, via email to firstname.lastname@example.org. This is to enable the suppliers to randomly select a new winner. 24. If the winning couple decline the prize within the 48 hours, they forfeit any rights to any part of the prize and cannot change their mind later. 25. All the suppliers involved have invested their time into this competition, all the suppliers named must therefore be used as individually described below and not be disregarded based on the individual taste of the winning couple. 26. The competition is in no way affiliated to any social media platforms, although advertised on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
VENUE – Weddings In Kent, The Alpaca Farm. 27. The wedding will take place at Alpaca Farm, Yaugher Lane, Hartlip, Kent, ME9 7XE. As a celebrant is conducting the ceremony you can choose to hold it any where within the grounds as advised by the venue owners. 28. The winning couple will receive exclusive use of The Alpaca Farm for their wedding ceremony and reception at no cost. This includes the use of tables and chairs for the wedding breakfast and reception. Additional furniture will be supplied by Boho & Bloom Prop Hire. 29. The venue fits 120 daytime guests and 200 – 300 evening guests. Numbers of guests must not exceed these numbers. Guest numbers must be confirmed with the venue in advance. 30. The winning couple will have access to Weddings In Kent – The Alpaca Farm, from two days before the wedding to add any decorations etc. This will need to be organised directly with the venue in advance. 31. Weddings In Kent will supply canapes, a wedding breakfast hog roast, and an evening BBQ. Food must be discussed directly between the winning couple and the venue owners at least a month before the wedding date. 32. Weddings In Kent can provide a fully stocked bar throughout the day and evening; please note this is not included within the prize and will need to be funded directly by the winning couple or as a paying bar by their guests. You are not allowed to bring any alcohol in to the venue grounds. 33. Safety must always be taken by the guests as it is a fully working farm. Any damages incurred due to the negligence of wedding guests will have to be paid for directly to the venue. You are individually and jointly liable for all damages. It is recommended that the winning couple will take out wedding insurance which covers. Any insurance policies taken are at the expense of the winning couple. 34. Power and lighting at The Alpaca Farm is provided by Triple A Events. 35. The venue is available until midnight. Legal restrictions on noise must always be adhered to . 36. Ample free parking is available at the venue. 37. Smoking is prohibited inside the venue but there is a designated smoking area outside.
WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER – FLORENCE BERRY PHOTOGRAPHY 38. The winning couple will receive a maximum of 12 hours coverage of their wedding by Florence Berry. 39. Images will be available to the couple via an online downloadable gallery of digital files. 40. If any photobooks/albums/USB are desired, these may be requested from Florence Berry Photography, however, they will be subject to additional costs. 41. Florence Berry Photography retains the copyright of all images. 42. If the winning couple would like a second photographer, they must first inform Florence Berry Photography. It is advised that they use the services of either Lawless Rose Photography or Strawberry Photography who are both contributors to the competition. The services of a second photographer will incur additional charges which must be discussed and arranged in advance and directly with the photographer hired.
VIDEOGRAPHER – BEN BRYANT FILM & PHOTOGRAPHY 43. The winning couple will receive full day coverage of their wedding by one videographer and one assistant videographer from Ben Bryant Film & Photography. 44. After the wedding the couple will be provided with a downloadable highlight style film set to carefully selected music.
MAKE UP ARTIST – RUTH ASHCROFT MUA 45. The bride will receive a consultation and trial (subject to availability) before the wedding as well as make up application on the day of the wedding, this includes the use of all products and application but excludes airbrush makeup. 46. Ruth Ashcroft MUA will also provide make up services for two additional people on the day of the wedding. 47. Any other people, (excluding the bride and two others already provided for) requiring make up application on the day of the wedding may be catered for, but this will incur an additional charge which must be discussed with Ruth Ashcroft MUA directly and is subject to availability. 48. All trials and consultations must be arranged in advance directly with Ruth Ashcroft MUA. 49. All those who require make up application on the day of the wedding must be in one location for Ruth Ashcroft MUA to travel to. 50. Travel for the make-up artist is included within the Kent area only.
BRIDAL HAIR STYLIST – PRETTY PLEASE BY KATIE 51. The Bride will receive hair styling services on the day of the wedding. 52. All trials and consultations must be arranged in advance directly with Pretty Please By Katie. 53. Travel for the hair stylist is included within the Kent area only. 54. For the suppliers’ convenience, all those requiring hair styling and make up application on the day of the wedding must be in one location.
HAIR STYLIST – BLISS BRIDAL 55. Bliss Bridal will provide non bridal hair styling services on the day of the wedding for up to four people. 56. All trials and consultations must be arranged in advance directly with Bliss Bridal and are subject to availability. 57. Travel for the hair stylist is included within the Kent area only.
BRIDAL BOUTIQUE – JODI BRIDAL 58. The winning couple will receive a wedding dress to the value of £1,700.00. 59. If a more expensive dress is selected, the additional value of that dress must be paid for by the winning couple. 60. If a second bridal dress is required, any additional dress would be subject to full payment. 61. If a same sex couple wins then the prize may be transferred to suit hire through Jodi Bridal, this will have to be discussed directly with Jodi Bridal. 62. Once a wedding dress has been selected there is no option to exchange. 63. Appointments may be subject to availability and must be arranged in advance and directly with Jodi Bridal. Travel and associated costs to appointments are the responsibility of the winning couple.
DRESS ALTERATIONS – KENT BRIDAL ALTERATIONS 64. The winning couple will receive a bridal gown alteration package worth £250. 65. All appointments must be made in advance and directly with Kent Bridal Alterations and are subject to availability. Travel and associated costs to appointments are the responsibility of the winning couple.
GROOMSWEAR – COUCHMAN BESPOKE 66. The winning couple will receive £500 off a custom, three-piece tailored suit to the value of £1,100. 67. Couchman Bespoke is based in London, all fittings and appointments and collection of the suit will need to be carried out at their premises in London. The cost and responsibility of travel to Couchman Bespoke for such appointments lies solely with the winning couple. 68. All appointments and fittings must be arranged directly with Couchman Bespoke in advance and are subject to availability. 69. If a same sex couple wins, the £500 off can be transferred to a bridal gown made by Couchman Bespoke in place of the suit.
BRIDAL ACCESSORIES – PEACOCK & PEARL 70. The winning couple will receive custom, bespoke veil(s), accessories and/or headpieces from Peacock & Pearl to the total value of £300. 71. No refunds/exchanges will be available after the item(s) have been designed/sent. 72. Additional products are available for purchase at their usual cost.
WEDDING PLANNER – AMANDA JANE WEDDINGS AND EVENTS 73. The winning couple will receive a full wedding planning service including eight hours of on the day coordination from Amanda Jane Weddings And Events. 74. The winning couple will receive a maximum of three face to face appointments and unlimited phone calls and emails. The first consultation is to be held at The Alpaca Farm. The second consultation will take place at Amanda Jane Weddings And Events. 75. All appointments and meetings must be arranged in advance and directly with Amanda Jane Weddings And Events and are subject to availability. Travel and any associated costs are the responsibility of the winning couple. 76. Full details of the planning service provided, including on the day attendance times, will be included in the contract supplied by Amanda Jane Weddings And Events.
CELEBRANT – SIMPLY CEREMONIES 77. The couple will receive a personalised wedding ceremony and celebrant service provided by Simply Ceremonies. 78. The prize includes a bespoke ceremony written for you by Simply Ceremonies. 79. Simply Ceremonies will conduct your personalised ceremony on the day of the wedding – 19/05/21 OR 08/09/21 – at The Alpaca Farm in an area chosen and agreed on by the winning couple, the venue owners, and Simply Ceremonies. 80. The winning couple will receive one face to face appointment with Simply Ceremonies, to be held at an agreed venue in Folkestone, Kent on a day suitable for both the winning couple and Simply Ceremonies, the date, time and location of the meeting just be agreed in advance and directly with Simply Ceremonies. All travel and associated costs to this appointment are the sole responsibility of the winning couple. 81. Simply Ceremonies provides a beautifully written, deeply personal service however, it is NOT a legally binding ceremony. The couple must ensure they are legally married by a registrar before their selected wedding date of 19/05/21 OR 08/09/21. The responsibility and cost of the legal marriage lies solely with the winning couple. 82. Any additional face to face appointments requested by the winning couple may incur additional costs.
TOASTMASTER – TOASTMASTER DAVID DICARA 83. The winning couple will receive a full day’s toastmaster service, beginning one hour before the ceremony and finishing shortly after the first dance. 84. The prize includes one meeting with Toastmaster David DiCara to discuss the running of your wedding day and ensure everything goes smoothly. 85. Appointments and meetings must be arranged in advance and directly with Toastmaster David DiCara.
FLORAL DESIGNER – FLOWERS BY EG 86. The winning couple will receive flowers to the retail value of £1,000 including the full design, creation and set up by Flowers By EG. This means that Flowers By EG will produce £1,000 worth of floral pieces of your choosing to include the cost of purchasing the flowers required to create the pieces. 87. Flowers By EG can offer bouquets, buttonholes, table flowers, installations, and any other floral design the couple wishes to incorporate. 88. Any costs above £1,000 must be covered by the couple and paid directly to Flowers By EG. 89. The design of the florals requested will be totally unique and bespoke to the winning couple therefore, a consultation will be required to discuss the style and variety of flowers. 90. All consultations and appointments must be made in advance and directly with Flowers By EG. Travel and associated costs are the responsibility of the winning couple.
FURNITURE AND PROP HIRE – BOHO & BLOOM PROP HIRE 91. The winning couple will be able to hire furniture, décor and props offered by Boho & Bloom Prop Hire to the value of £750. This includes anything from the items offered by Boho & Bloom Prop Hire, as advertised on their website, provided they are available on your selected date. 92. Any extra items over the value of £750 can be added at additional cost to the winning couple. This must be discussed directly with Boho & Bloom Prop Hire. 93. All items will be delivered and collected by Boho & Bloom Prop Hire; times will be discussed directly with the couple. 94. If Boho & Bloom prop hire require a deposit for any items hired or there are breakage fees to pay, this will be discussed at the relevant time and any payments due need to be paid directly to Boho & Bloom Prop Hire.
CAKE – BAKE TO THE FUTURE 95. The winning couple will receive a cake(s) to serve up to 200 people to the value of £800. 96. The couple will receive a consultation with Bake To The Future for them to taste and select the flavours and fillings of their cake and to discuss the design. 97. The couple have complete freedom over the theme and style of the cake, but it is expected that they will agree the final design with Bake To The Future either during or after their consultation. 98. Consultations are held at the Abbots Barton Hotel in Canterbury on selected dates, the couple will need to arrange an appointment on a date specified by Bake To The Future in advance and are responsible for making their own way to the hotel for the consultation. 99. The prize includes delivery to the venue and set up of the cake on the day of the wedding. 100. Any fresh flowers requested will be provided by Flowers By EG and will come from the cake section of the prize and not the flower budget. This must be discussed with Bake To The Future and Flowers By EG in advance and directly. 101. The couple may select to have a tiered cake, separate cakes, cupcake tower or a combination of any of those. 102. If additional servings are required, the cake can be scaled up to increase servings, but this will need to be discussed directly with Bake To The Future in advance.
CAKE TOPPER KEEPSAKE – CLAYCRAFT BY JENNY 103. The winning couple will receive a handmade, personalised, clay keepsake of themselves in their wedding attire to either use on top of their wedding cake, alongside the wedding cake or as ornaments. 104. The design of the topper must be discussed directly with Claycraft By Jenny. 105. The prize includes the cost of posting the topper to the winning couple. The topper can be sent directly to the couple or directly to Bake To The Future if being included in the cake design. 106. The winning couple will need to directly inform Claycraft By Jenny of their wedding attire and features for the clay keepsakes to be as accurate as possible. These details must be sent well in advance of the wedding to allow time for the clay toppers to be created.
FAVOUR BOXES – OAST HOUSE GIFTS 107. The winning couple will receive 80 handmade favour boxes. 108. The colour and design of the boxes will need to be discussed in advance and directly with Oast House Gifts. 109. The favour boxes are provided empty and the favours themselves will need to be sourced and paid for by the couple.
WEDDING CARD MEMORY FRAME – KAT’S KEESAKES 110. The couple will receive a framed memory board compiled of their wedding cards as a keepsake. 111. The prize is valued at £65.00 and any additional elements may incur further charges which the couple are responsible for paying directly to Kat’s Keepsakes. 112. The couple must arrange the creation and receipt of the card memory frame directly with Kat’s Keepsakes. 113. A specific date for the winning couple to receive the memory frame will be given by Kat’s Keepsakes and is based on availability.
SKINCARE PROGRAM – THE FACE CLINIC BY SARA 114. The winning couple will each receive a skin care program in the run up to the wedding consisting of three million-dollar facials each. 115. Each of the three million-dollar facials must be done four weeks apart. 116. The facials are done at a salon in Dover by a fully qualified and highly experienced therapist. The couple are responsible for all travel and associated costs to and from the salon for the treatments. 117. All appointments must be arranged in advance and directly with The Face Clinic By Sara and are subject to availability.
PAMPER PACKAGE – FINISHING TOUCHES BY GEORGINA 118. The winning couple will receive a massage and manicure for one, a massage, eyelash tint, mini manicure and pedicure, eyebrow and leg wax and gel nails upgrade for one. 119. The treatments are carried out at a salon in Ashford and the cost and arrangement of travel is the sole responsibility of the couple. 120. All appointments must be made in advance and directly with Finishing Touches By Georgina. 121. All treatments are conducted by a qualified and experienced therapist.
WEDDING RINGS AND MAKE YOUR OWN WEDDING RINGS WORKSHOP – NAVETTE JEWELLERY STUDIO 122. The winning couple will receive a make your own wedding rings workshop at Navette Jewellery Studio based in Ashford. 123. The couple will receive the workshop and the metal required for their rings to the value of £1,000 in total. 124. Any costs above £1,000 covering the workshop and the metal for the creation of the rings must be covered by the winning couple. 125. The couple are responsible for the travel and costs incurred to attend the workshop at Navette Jewellery Studio. 126. All workshops and appointments must be arranged in advance and directly with Navette Jewellery Studio. 127. Should you wish to use the full £1,000 for the cost of the creation of the rings rather than doing the workshop, you will need to discuss this directly with Navette Jewellery Studio.
ROCK THE FROCK ANNIVERSARY PHOTOSHOOT – LAWLESS ROSE PHOTOGRAPHY 128. The winning couple will receive a one-hour rock the frock photo shoot to celebrate their first wedding anniversary. 129. Images will be available to the couple via an online downloadable gallery of digital files. 130. If any photobooks/albums/USB are desired, these may be requested from Lawless Rose Photography, however, they will be subject to additional costs to be paid by the winning couple. 131. Lawless Rose Photography retains the copyright of all images. 132. Lawless Rose Photography may use any images for marketing/advertising purposes. 133. The photoshoot must be booked for a weekday date at one location in Kent agreeable by both the winning couple and Lawless Rose Photography. The photoshoot must be booked in advance and directly with Lawless Rose Photography. The winning couple are responsible for all travel and associated costs to the and from the photo shoot.
ENGAGEMENT PHOTOSHOOT – STRAWBERRY PHOTOGRAPHY 134. The winning couple will receive an engagement photoshoot lasting 1.5 hours. The shoot will take place at a location agreed between the winning couple and Strawberry Photography. All travel and costs are the responsibility of the winning couple. 135. The engagement photoshoot must be booked in advance and directly with Strawberry Photography. 136. Images will be available to the couple via an online downloadable gallery of digital files. 137. The couple will have the opportunity to attend a consultation with Strawberry Photography before the photoshoot. They are responsible for organising and paying for their travel to the appointment. 138. Strawberry Photography retains the copyright of all images. 139. If any photobooks/albums/USB are desired, these may be requested from Strawberry Photography, however, they will be subject to additional costs. 140. Strawberry Photography may use any images for marketing/advertising purposes.
STATIONERY – LOOPS AND LETTERS CALLIGRAPHY 141. The winning couple will receive their choice of personalised stationery to the value of £490. 142. The winning couple will receive stationery including seating plan, welcome sign, table numbers, menus, order of service cards all handmade by a calligrapher. 143. The calligrapher will coordinate with the invitation printer to ensure that the design flows throughout your whole stationery range. 144. The couple are responsible for the travel and any associated costs to attend any necessary appointments or consultations. 145. All appointments must be arranged in advance and directly with Loops And Letters Calligraphy.
INVITATIONS – EASY PEASY EVENTS 146. The winning couple will receive a personalised design and print service for their wedding invitations to the value of £200. 147. Easy Peasy Events will coordinate with Loops And Letters Calligraphy to ensure your stationery design flows through the whole range. 148. The couple are responsible for the travel and any associated costs to attend any necessary appointments or consultations. 149. All appointments must be arranged in advance and directly with Easy Peasy Events.
DJ AND DANCE FLOOR HIRE – DYNAMIX ENTERTAINMENTS 150. The winning couple will receive the services of a DJ for their wedding reception and the hire of a dance floor of their choice subject to availability. 151. Set up of all sound and lighting equipment and the set up of the dance floor prior to the start of the evening reception. 152. Professional DJ equipment and sound system with all relevant insurances. 153. DJ to play music during the arrival of the evening guests before the first dance and performing until 12am (subject to venue permits). 154. The couple are responsible for the travel and any associated costs to attend any necessary appointments or consultations. 155. All appointments must be arranged in advance and directly with Dynamix Entertainments. 156. Song requests will be taken using a questionnaire issued directly by Dynamix Entertainments. The questionnaire must be received by Dynamix Entertainments at least 14 days before the wedding date.
PHOTOBOOTH/SELFIE MIRROR – 20/20 SOUNDS 157. The winning couple will receive three hours hire of a photobooth/selfie mirror including delivery and set up of the photobooth/selfie mirror and all props. The booth is available with a choice of three covers. The winning couple will receive a guest book photo album of the photos taken, unlimited photos and use of all props.
CRECHE – THE WEDDING CRECHE COMPANY 158. The winning couple will receive the services of two or three qualified members of the wedding creche company team for up to six hours of childcare on the day of the wedding. 159. The couple are responsible for the travel and any associated costs to attend any necessary appointments or consultations. All appointments must be arranged in advance and directly with The Wedding Creche Company. 160. The winning couple will receive a separate contract from The Wedding Creche Company outlining all terms and liabilities.
CHILDREN’S TEEPEE CORNER – CLOUD9 TEEPEES 161. The winning couple will receive hire of up to four children’s tepees. 162. The tepees come with a table for activities and decorations including balloon garlands, tepees and decorations will be delivered and set up by Cloud9 Teepees.
ICE CREAM – TREATS ON A TRICYCLE 163. The winning couple will receive the services of a manned ice cream tricycle to supply a maximum of 125 servings of real dairy, Kentish ice cream to their guests. 164. The winning couple will need to agree the time of arrival and service directly with Treats On A Tricycle, a typical serving time is two hours which includes any time needed for capturing photos using the tricycle as a prop. 165. Additional requirements can be considered but may incur additional costs to the winning couple. 166. Choice of flavours from an extensive list of ice creams and sorbets served in waffle cones or tubs. 167. The tricycle will be decorated for your wedding to suit your colour scheme. 168. Serving staff will be provided and be suitably dressed in traditional attire.
WEDDING ITEMS HIRE – DEBS SWEET DELIGHTS 169. The winning couple will receive the hire of a wedding post box for their guests to deposit cards in. The post box is locked, and the key is kept by Debs Sweet Delights. Debs Sweet Delights will return at the end of the reception to unlock the post-box and collect up all the cards. They will ensure the winning couple receives the cards safely. 170. The winning couple will receive the hire of a flower wall. 171. The winning couple will receive the hire of light up LOVE letters. 172. The winning couple will receive the hire of a sweet cart fully stocked to accommodate up to 120 guests. 173. Additional services and items may be available but will incur charges which the winning couple are responsible for. 174. All items will be delivered, set up and collected by Debs Sweet Delights 175. There are various designs of each items available for hire, but all are subject to availability and must be discussed directly with Debs Sweet Delights. 176. The couple are responsible for the travel and any associated costs to attend any necessary appointments or consultations. 177. All appointments must be arranged in advance and directly with Debs Sweet Delights.
MAGICIAN – STUART WELLER 178. The winning couple will receive a 90 to 120-minute performance of close-up magic to entertain them and their guests. 179. Performance times must be discussed in advance and directly with Stuart Weller.
GLITTER BAR – LUXURIOUS GLITTER 180. The winning couple will receive the services of two glitter fairies for two hours with the use of a glitter bar including all eco glitters, gems, and festival face paint. 181. All glitter is handled and applied by the glitter fairies. 182. Service time is suggested as 8pm until 10pm but will need to be discussed in advance and directly with Luxurious Glitter. 183. Luxurious Glitter do not offer animal face painting or ‘kiddie’ designs.
CASINO HIRE – APPY ACES FUN CASINO HIRE 184. The winning couple will receive the hire and use of either one blackjack table or one roulette table to entertain them and their guests for up to three hours, including the use of personalised ‘play’ money which all games are played with. 185. All tables are manned by an experienced croupier. 186. Tables are delivered, set up and taken away by Appy Aces Fun Casino Hire. 187. Hire times need to be discussed in advance and directly with Appy Aces Fun Casino Hire. 188. A bottle of prosecco and a plaque will be awarded to the overall winner at the discretion of Appy Aces Fun Casino Hire.
FALCONRY DISPLAY AND HEN/STAG EXPERIENCE – JOE’S BOWS 189. The winning couple will receive a 90-minute falconry display to entertain them and their guests on the day of the wedding. 190. The winning couple will receive a falconry experience to use as an individual or joint hen/stag party for up to 30 people. 191. Display times will need to be discussed in advance and directly with Joe’s Bows. 192. The day and time of the hen/stag experience will need to be discussed and booked in advance and directly with Joe’s Bows and is subject to availability.
PET SITTING – TAIL TALES 193. The winning couple will receive up to five hours of pet sitting services on the day of their wedding. 194. The prize includes travel time and the care of any additional pets. 195. Tail Tales will look after your pets during the ceremony and bring them in for photos when needed and take them away again. 196. All times must be discussed in advance and directly with Tail Tales.
WEDDING WEBSITE – FILM OUR DAY 197. The winning couple will receive a personalised wedding website designed especially for them by an experienced website developer. 198. The design of the website and any additional edits required in the run up to the wedding, will need to be discussed directly with James at Film Our Day.
SAXOPHONIST – DAVE BRAZIER SAX 199. The winning couple will receive a 90-minute solo sax session during their ceremony, drinks reception or wedding breakfast OR two 45-minute sets played alongside the DJ in the evening. 200. All song choices and preferences must be discussed in advance and directly with Dave Brazier.
BAND – CAN’T TOUCH THIS 201. The couple will receive a performance by a live band during their evening reception. 202. Song choices and performance time(s) must be discussed in advance and directly with Can’t Touch This. 203. Where necessary the band will coordinate with Dave Brazier Sax and Dynamix Entertainments on performance times.
BALLOONS – DERIVE BALLOONS 204. The winning couple will receive balloons and installation services to the value of £200 to use on their wedding day. 205. All balloons will be provided, delivered, installed, and set up by Derive Balloons. 206. Preferred colours and use of the balloons will need to be discussed in advance and directly with Derive Balloons. 207. The couple are responsible for the travel and any associated costs to attend any necessary appointments or consultations. 208. All appointments must be arranged in advance and directly with Derive Balloons.
CUSTOM SHOES – CREATIONS BY MISS MOLLY’S 209. The winning couple will receive one pair of customised shoes for the bride/groom to the value of £70.00. 210. Miss Molly’s may be able to accommodate additional pairs of custom shoes subject to availability, this will need to be discussed in advance and directly with Miss Molly’s. 211. The prize includes postage of the shoes to the couple. 212. All colours and design preferences need to be discussed directly with Miss Molly’s.
TRANSPORT – TG EXECUTIVE HIRE 213. The winning couple will receive a chauffeur service to transport them from any location within Kent to the Alpaca Farm on the day of the wedding. 214. The couple will also receive a chauffeur service to transport them both from the Alpaca Farm to Broome Park Hotel at the end of their wedding reception. 215. All times must be discussed in advance and directly with TG Executive Hire.
CHILDREN’S PARTY BAGS – PARTY BAG ONLINE 216. The winning couple will receive ten children’s bags as gifts for children attending their wedding. These are reusable cotton bags filled with one gift with a personalised label or tag. 217. The contents of the bags will need to be discussed directly and in advance with Party Bag Online. 218. Additional bags and/or contents may be provided subject to availability and further charges which must be paid by the winning couple. This should be discussed directly with Party Bag Online.
WELCOME DRINKS – PROSECCO TRUCKS 219. The winning couple will receive the services of a Prosecco Truck to serve 12 bottles (72 flutes) of Prosecco to their guests. 220. If additional bottles are required, this should be discussed in advance and directly with Prosecco Trucks and will incur additional costs which must be paid by the winning couple. 221. Service times must be discussed in advance and directly with Prosecco Trucks, but it is advised that the prosecco be served to guests after the ceremony whilst photos are being taken.
BRIDESMAIDS DRESSES – DEISY’S COUTURE 222. The winning couple will receive three bridesmaids’ dresses to the total value of £660 for all three. 223. Dresses must be selected from Deisy’s Couture shop, appointments may be necessary and must be arranged in advance and directly with Deisy’s Couture. 224. All travel and associated costs to Deisy’s Couture for appointments are the sole responsibility of the winning couple. Multiple appointments may be necessary.
GROOMSMEN SUIT HIRE – JODI MENSWEAR 225. The winning couple will receive the free hire of three men’s suits to the full value of £395 for all three. 226. Suits must be selected from Jodi Menswear; appointments may be necessary and must be arranged in advance and directly with Jodi. 227. All travel and associated costs to attend appointments are the responsibility of the winning couple. Please note that multiple appointments may be necessary. 228. The three suits are subject to the normal hire terms and policies of Jodi Menswear. These will be discussed directly with Jodi Menswear. 229. The three suits must be returned to Jodi Menswear according to any terms and policies stated to you at the time of hire. 230. The three suits hired by Jodi Menswear are for the sole use of groomsmen only and must not in anyway be used as a substitute for the tailored suit offered by Couchman Bespoke as part of this competition prize. One of the suits may be used for a groom ONLY in the case of a same sex couple where one makes use of the suit provided by Couchman Bespoke and the other makes use of one of the three suits available for hire from Jodi Menswear.
WEDDING NIGHT SUITE – BROOME PARK HOTEL 231. The winning couple will spend their wedding night in a four-poster bedroom at Broome Park Hotel. 232. Rooms are subject to availability, if a four-poster suite is not available then another room will be allocated to you. 233. The room will need to be booked directly with the hotel through the competition organiser as soon as the winning couple has selected their preferred date between 19/05/21 and 08/09/21 to guarantee availability. 234. The check out time for the morning after the wedding will be clarified by Broome Park Hotel at the time of booking. The room must be vacated at the specified time.
NEON SIGN HIRE – THE BEAUTIFUL DETAILS 235. The winning couple will receive free hire of one neon sign provided by The Beautiful Details. 236. Additional services and items may be available but are subject to availability and will incur charges which the winning couple are responsible for. 237. All items will be delivered, set up and collected by The Beautiful Details. 238. The couple are responsible for the travel and any associated costs to attend any necessary appointments or consultations. All appointments must be arranged in advance and directly with The Beautiful Details.
TABLE WINE AND TOASTING PROSECCO – MOBILE BAR HIRE 239. The winning couple will receive 10 bottles of white wine to the value of £190 and 10 bottles of red wine to the value of £190 for the tables during the wedding breakfast. 240. The winning couple will receive 10 bottles of Prosecco for the toast to the value of £260. 241. If additional bottles are required, this should be discussed in advance and directly with Mobile Bar Hire and will incur additional costs which must be paid by the winning couple. 242. Arrangements for delivery of the bottles of wine and prosecco will be made in advance of the wedding and agreed between Mobile Bar Hire, the winning couple and the venue, Weddings In Kent.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION EXCLUSIVITY 243. It is understood that the Kent Wedding Team will act as the sole and exclusive suppliers for your wedding with regards to their individual service. By signing this contract, the winning couple agrees that no other person, company, professional or otherwise, shall provide products or services for the wedding without the consent of the Kent Wedding Team. For example, if additional hair services are required, it is understood that Pretty Please By Katie or Bliss Bridal will provide the entire service and all furniture would be supplied by Boho & Bloom Prop Hire etc. 244. This clause is to protect the image of the above suppliers from assumptions that might occur from the event’s attendees.
LIABILITY 245. None of the Kent Wedding Team will be held responsible for loss or damage to property caused arising from any goods under hire or services provided. 246. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to or will exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by the Kent Wedding Team’s negligence. 247. All suppliers of the Kent Wedding Team hold their own insurance, individual and specific to their business. If you wish to discuss any specific concerns, please speak to the individual supplier to see a copy of their insurance policy.
UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES & CANCELLATION 248. Whilst all suppliers will make every effort to ensure that the service agreed between the above-named suppliers and the winning couple is fully operational and error-free, we cannot guarantee this. Acts of God, (force majeure) events beyond our reasonable control, sudden ill health and adverse weather conditions may affect our ability to deliver the product or service. However, in cases of adverse weather we will remain in contact with the event planner and venue in the lead up to the event and we will discuss a contingency plan. Ultimately, we can accept no responsibility for Acts of God, sudden ill health, adverse weather conditions or any event beyond our reasonable control. If any of the Kent Wedding Team are prevented from providing the service or product as agreed then they cannot be held accountable, however, they agree to do all possible to find a replacement. 249. If an event is due to held be outside, but a sudden change in weather prevents this from occurring, or does not allow a named supplier to provide the set up agreed, then the service may have to be moved inside if applicable, no action can be taken against the suppliers in this circumstance. 250. A force majeure event includes any act, event, non-occurrence, omission or accident beyond our reasonable control and includes, in particular (without limitation), the following: strikes, lock-outs or other industrial action; or civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war (whether declared or not) or threat or preparation for war; or fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic, pandemic or other natural disaster; or impossibility of the use of railways, shipping, aircraft, motor transport or other means of public or private transport; or impossibility of the use of public or private telecommunications networks; or change of law/government policy. 251. Our obligations under these terms will be suspended when the event occurs and for the period that the Force Majeure Event continues, and we will notify you as soon as is reasonably possible. Any time limits that we are bound by will be extended accordingly. We will inform you when that event is over and extend the time to perform these obligations for the duration of that period. We will take reasonable steps to bring the Force Majeure Event to a close or to find a solution by which our obligations under these terms can be performed despite the Force Majeure Event. 252. If the winning couple decide to cancel the wedding then any fees already paid by the Kent Wedding Team for cost of products etc, may be collected by suppliers, to ensure that no supplier(s) suffer a loss. 253. If the government takes steps to restrict the movement or assembly of people due to any communicable illness, infection, or other condition of any kind, our priority must be public health and safety. Therefore, the Kent Wedding Team will not be able to attend your event, if to do so would put us in violation of government issued advice or orders which could invalidate any insurances held. In the event of a postponement of the wedding (only due to restrictions issued by the government) the Kent Wedding Team will endeavour to change your date of booking where possible to your alternative date. An alternative date cannot be guaranteed and where this cannot be achieved where reasonable steps have been undertaken, the suppliers unable to provide services are indemnified from any claims and all financial responsibility arising for further cost incurred as a result. 254. If any party of this agreement is advised or instructed to self-isolate due any communicable illness, infection, or other condition of any kind then the above conditions apply. 255. It is the responsibility of the winning couple to inform the Kent Wedding Team if any party of this agreement and/or guest at their event has been informed to self-isolate so appropriate consideration can be taken on how to proceed accordingly. 256. Any supplier involved reserves the right to withdraw services up to the point of confirmation by the signing of a contract with that supplier. The terms above apply to the competition entry only and any further conditions, specific to the supplier, must be met before their services and inclusion in the event are confirmed. That contract will be binding on both parties as per the conditions of that contract. 257. The Kent Wedding Team reserve the right to extend or modify the closing date at our discretion or modify the terms as appropriate at any time as other vendors offer services or circumstances change. 258. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws in England and Wales. 259. If any part of these terms and conditions is invalid or unenforceable, the remainder is valid and remains enforced.
PRIVACY 260. During the entry period a limited number of people will have access to your personal details. However, all suppliers will see all entries when/if shortlisting of entries is required. 261. Upon entry to the competition you opt-in to enter the competition and receive marketing from all named suppliers (Kent Wedding Team). Your personal details will not be shared with anyone outside of the Kent Wedding Team. 262. Your details may be used by the Kent Wedding Team for marketing purposes once the competition has closed, you may opt out of this at any time. 263. All personal information that we may use will be collected, processed, and held in accordance with the provisions of EU Regulation 2016/679 General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) and your rights under the GDPR.
CHANGES TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS We may from time to time change these Terms and Conditions without giving you notice but we will use our reasonable endeavours to inform you as soon as is reasonably possible of any such change.
